Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 1 January 2026

Spray Foam Renewal Works is a spray foam removal business based in Yeovil, Somerset. We have been helping homeowners across Somerset since 2022. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us or use our website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We keep this plain and simple, because you should be able to understand exactly how your details are used.

Information We Collect

When you get in touch with us about spray foam removal, we collect the details you give us. That usually means your name, phone number, email address, and the address of the property where the work is needed. If you send us photos of your roof or loft, we keep those too so our team can assess the job properly.

If you use our website, we may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We collect this through cookies and similar tools, and it helps us understand how people find and use our site.

We only ask for what we need to quote for your spray foam removal and to carry out the work. You are never obliged to give us more than that.

How We Use Information

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, and give you a clear price for removing spray foam from your property. We also use your contact information to keep you updated about your job, including scheduling and any follow-up after the work is done.

If you have asked us to, we may send you occasional updates about our services or reminders about maintenance. You can tell us to stop at any time, and we will.

We use website data to improve our site and make sure it works properly on the devices people actually use. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies to help it run smoothly and to remember your preferences. Cookies are small files stored on your device. They let us see which pages are popular and how visitors move around the site.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. If you turn cookies off, some parts of our website may not work as well, but you can still contact us by phone or email.

We do not use cookies to collect sensitive information about you, and we do not use them to track you across other websites for advertising.

Analytics and Third-Party Tools

We use trusted third-party tools, such as website analytics, to understand how people find our site and which pages are most useful. These tools may collect information like your approximate location, device type, and how long you spend on a page.

The information we get from these tools is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We use it only to improve our website and our service.

We may also use third-party services to help us manage enquiries or schedule work. These providers only see the information they need to do their job, and they are required to keep it secure.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with people who need it to help us deliver our service, such as our own technicians or a trusted subcontractor working on your spray foam removal.

If we ever need to share your information with a third party for a legal reason, such as responding to a court order or preventing fraud, we will do so only as required by law.

Any company we work with must handle your data securely and only for the purpose we agreed with them.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as we need it to provide our service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. For most jobs, that means we hold your details for up to six years after the work is completed.

If you have asked us not to contact you for marketing, we keep a record of that request so we can honour it. We do not keep your information for longer than necessary.

When we no longer need your data, we delete it securely.

Data Security

We take the security of your information seriously. We store it on secure systems and restrict access to those who need it to do their job. Our team is trained to handle personal data responsibly.

While no method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, we use reasonable measures to protect your details. If you ever have a concern about how your data is being handled, please contact us straight away.

User Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and to ask us to delete it in certain circumstances. You can also object to how we use your data or ask us to restrict it.

If you want to exercise any of these rights, just get in touch using the contact details at the bottom of this page. We will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), which is the UK's data protection regulator.

Children's Privacy

Our services are for homeowners and property managers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

If you believe a child has given us their details, please contact us and we will delete that information promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we make changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.

We encourage you to check back occasionally so you always know how we are protecting your information.
